Background and Experience
As a former U.S. Patent Examiner, Ms. Brophy was part of the Semiconductor Workgroup, where she examined patent applications in the areas of semiconductor devices and methods of making semiconductor devices. After leaving the USPTO in 2004, Ms. Brophy worked as a Patent Agent in Oregon and then Arizona drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical, medical device and pharmaceutical arts. Ms. Brophy joined Vista IP Law Group in 2007 where her practice focuses on U.S. and foreign patent prosecution.
